Evertje died on 24 July 1904 at the age of 71 in Marion County, Iowa, USA. Mrs. E Jelsma died at her home in this city about 12:30 o'clock last Sunday at the age of sixty-two years. She was naturally weakened on account of her advanced age and a cancer on her breast finally caused death. The funeral was held at the First Reformed church yesterday and burial took place in Oakland cemetery. Her husband died a few months ago on one Sunday about the same time of the day as her death occurred, and thus with a year this old couple have gone to their reward.
